Virginia Trusted Pros is an open directory of home-services businesses across Virginia. Plumbers, HVAC techs, electricians, roofers, drainage crews, window companies, and every other trade a homeowner ends up needing. Any Virginia business in one of those trades can list here, for free.
What we do, and what we do not
We keep a clean, honest register. When a business gives us a Virginia contractor license number, we check it and mark the listing License Verified with the date. That is the whole promise. We do not rank companies, we do not sell a spot at the top of a best-of list, and we do not pretend a listing is our endorsement. It is a directory, not a popularity contest. How we keep the lights on
Two ways, both simple. A basic listing is free. A business can also pay for a Featured placement, which is advertising, and we label it as advertising every time it appears. Paying never buys the verified mark, a better ranking, or the removal of anything. See the advertising disclosure for the plain version.
Who runs it
The site is hosted and narrated by Marty Hobbs, a spreadsheet-keeping Virginia homeowner who has spent years tracking what home repairs really cost. Read Marty's story.
